Thales was looking to refresh their Graduate Recruitment Process to reflect their behaviours together with assessing ‘Technical Talent’ within the business.

The Challenge

To undertake candidate response, assessment centre design and delivery and assessor and interview training from 2009 – 2012, recruiting 350 Graduates in total across variety of technical and business roles.

How did we do this?

After consultation with a variety of key stakeholders across the organisation we were able to develop a competency framework to use as the basis of the recruitment and assessment piece.We were then able to design a bespoke process that included an online application, telephone interview and assessment centre.Coupled with this Managers undertook training to understand the new process and develop their assessing and interviewing skills.

The Outcome

Successful appointment of 350 graduates over a 3 year period.
